American forces enter Germany through a small border town and the engineers post the roadsigns.Upon crossing the small bridge into town the American forces met with a stiff counter offensive by the Germans and bottlenecked the main thrust and the engineers.

You have a lot of things happening in this one Sasd, but I like the way it flow’s. What did you make your sand bags out of?
Thad
Kids plastiscene,I like to mold them to shape as I build the emplacement then seal with straight white glue, paint, wash and weather.
I should mention here also that Bugsy took the pics for me,many thanks Bugsy!
Very nice, love all the detail, thanks for the pics…
Superb work on the dio and the photography, gentlemen!
One I really like, and I gotta get some of that plasticine too, doesn’t look like it would crack like that clay I had…
Great build Russ!
Great job. Thanks for sharing with us.
More outstanding work Russ. Always a pleasure too see![^]
The whole scene really catches the eye, beautiful build. But I must say it leaves me wanting to see close-ups. Also the guy on the big 50 looks familar, where is he from? Or is he scratched. Thanks for the peek.
as always, great diorama sasd!
Sasd, you have some really good individual stuff here, but there’s a really big disconnect. These guys are in range of a thrown hand grenade but you have guys right near him just standing around and another guy asking to be shot standing in the back of the 57!
Really impressive! I love the detail, and the action of the soldiers in repelling the German attack. Yet, I need to ask, are the Germans attacking from behind them? Your roadsign shows “Brest” In the direction of where everyone is shooting, and “Berlin” the other way, where nobody is shooting. I just wanted to be sure, because your accompanying story indicates they were attacked once crossing the border.
Also, great detail on the Water beneath the bridge! How was that done?
Again, awesome dio! Keep up the great work!
Hi SAS,
More a good work.
thanks about, how to aply the snow and i invite u and all to see the result in “new fotos”.
Bye and kee show us your great works
Many thanks for the comments guys, granted my models are sometimes,no moretimes than not historicaly correct,I build first of all for the fun of it, second, for the love of the vehicles and lastly, for the situation. I figure if I base everything I do on actual ya have to be there Historical fact I wont be having fun building stuff and I dont want to lose interest in building models,so if a sign is not pointing in the right direction or I place a soldier in a wrong position hey that`s the fun of it. I appreciate that some of us know a little more history than do others but frankly,History bored the hell out of me in school, lol!! Thanks very much for all of your comments and the hilighted points are taken under advisement.
hey, absolutely amazing work. I love seeing dioramas.

Thanks for the word sasd! I know what you mean about building for fun, I do it all the time! You definitely do much bertter quality work for funm than I do. Keep those pics coming, Your work is too good to be kept hidden!
Also, thanks for the tip on the sandbags. I may try that in 1/72 scale too.
Thanks everyone for all of your comments.
Glad you got something out of my dio Duke and Skar, the figure is from Tamiya.
Morning Bugsy!
That’s awesome. I love the stone work.
I dont know if you remember Synergys stuff back in the 80s but that bridge was their footbridge.I cut the thing in half and added a synergy cobblestone road section inside, worked beautifully.
