I finished painting the camo on the other two birds in my “Fly by Night” project today. My hand and wrist are sore from holding the airbrush, so I’ll just shut my mouth and post the pics.
This is the Trimaster Me 262 single seater:
And the ProModeler Ta 154:
Ithink I’ll take a nap now. Thanks for letting me share the builds with you !
Nice work - what’s the finished Camo going to look like on the TA154 - I’ve got one to build in my stash. It’s nice to actually see a GOOD Revell kit. Previously I’ve only had their awful 1/72nd space shuttle, A-10 and old B-24 in 1/48th. Bears to deal with!
Thank you grenadier, razordws, lerxst1031, Frank, Duke, Gilmund, Karl, mikeiw, Thad, mucker, and Rick !
Gilmund - there are intakes on the engine nacelles that will be added later. They are going to be NMF.
mikeiw - the camo on the Ta 154 is finished. This kit was developed by Dragon, but never released. It’s not a “shake-the-box” kit. There are no alignment pins on the fuselage, and shims must be inserted on the wing bottom to prevent them from drooping. The detail is nice and the shapes are accurate. It’s a model that you get to build, rather than having a box of parts that just need to be assembled.
