I need to know how to remove seems from hard to reach places on a engine block, mostly where it might be noticable like where no other parts are glued to it, I know how to remove seems from aircraft because they are easier to reach and remove, but cars appear to be different, any information would be very help full and appreciated-thank you,
ronald I use needle files and sanding sticks. I dont stress out too much over them except for the water pump and harmonic balancer. Most 1/1 blocks and transmissions are pretty crude with the casting line cleanup.
Ronald, remove the se_A_ms with needle files. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and can fit just about anywhere you might want to get to a hard-to-reach seAm.
Hint, Next time you go to your regular Dentist ask the person who cleans your teeth politely if they have any old picks they are discarding. Usually they will sell them to you dirt cheap or give them to you. ( Picks are the things they use to clean with). They come in several shapes and will work wonders in very tight places.
