Emma's pink Rufe is finished!

Hay ya’ll, I finally got Emm’a Rufe done. For a cheap kit I am pretty happy with the way it came out. The kit canopy was missing so I ended up using a vac u form canopy, that was the first time I ever used one, and I cannot say I cared too much for it. I may try one again but it will not be for a while. I used Model Master and Tamiya paints, and all the painting was done with a brush. It was painted with Future before applying the decals and then flat coat with Testors from a spray can. I did the staining with pastel chalk. Take a look http://www.msnusers.com/EricsModelAirplanes/emmasfinishedruff.msnw and let me know what to you think. Well now that it is done I can get on with the “My first model” GB, an Aurora Fokker D-VII.

Cheers,

Eric

That’s pink!!! Looks great though. Very nice build.

Andy

As Andy said, that is one pink airplane! Great job on the build, Eric, especially on the finish. I’ve used vacuform canopies a couple of times myself and really struggle with them for some reason, so I know your pain.
