Electric Toothbrush sander

Hi guys !

Possibly not an original idea but it works great.

I took an old toothbrush from a rechargeable unit. Cut off the bristles. Cut a plastic disk to the size of a Dremmel sanding disk, glued it to the brush head with epoxy. Attached the sanding disk with double faced carpet tape. And away it went. Moves slow, is very controllable, thin (on edge it gets into tight places) can be used wet or dry. Works great!

Have fun!

The original DIY micro sander. Sounds like a good idea.

That’s sounds like a fantastic Idea! I do model cars sometimes and that would be a perfect polisher too! Thanks I have a few heads for my old one. Guess what I’m doing tonight!

Honestly I’d submit that to the Magazine if I were you. I certainly have not heard of that before!

Great idea! I had thought about making a similar thing out of a electric carving knife.

Great idea! I’ll have to try to make one.

Brilliant!!!
