EKA-3B Whale cockpit colors - please help!

Hello everybody!

I know we have many people on these forums interested in US Navy aircraft - I need your help gentlemen. I’m working on a Hasegawa 1:72 Whale. I try to show it as a Vietnam -era EKA-3B. I need help with color of various cockpit parts. From what I’ve seen until now, the sheet metal in the cockpit is grey - what kind of grey should it be? What paint would you recommend here, preferably Humbrol if I may ask? Then there are the seat cushions - I’ve seen them in a cute blue colour, seems to be a Douglas factory thing, would that be right? Then there are the sounproofing panels on the sides, and most of all the seat harness - what colours would be right here? I’m also open for any tips here that you might have. When I have something to show I’ll open a regular WIP for everybody to see. Thanks in advance, have a nice day

The gray will be Dark Gull Gray, although in that scale and with the cockpit being somewhat hidden, you could probably use Dark Ghost Gray to achieve scale effect.
