Just breaking in the new ‘Etch Mate’ – going fairly well considering I’m very new to PE and close attention to folding sequence is necessary – did anyone notice the instructions are reversed for the rear bracket ? Also wondering the best method to attach to the hull (the Panther is finished) – not sure if superglue would give anytime to ‘nudge’ the bracket into place-- any advice is appreciated!

A prefered method is to use CA glue applying to the outside edge, letting the capillary action of the glue to get beneath and around it. I have used two-part apoxy on resin and it worked well. I actually screwed up my PE one because the CA dried too fast and it wasn’t positioned correctly. I haven’t tried the two-part apoxy on PE, but it might be a little messier.
You can try a slow setting CA glue like “Zap a Gap”. It gives you a little time to move the part if necessary, but it does have a tendencey to pile up on the joint. Use it carefully.[2c]
