I went from Eduard’s Spitfire Vb (nightmare of a cockpit and some wacky fit issues) to Tamiya’s P-47 Bubbletop (about the easiest build ever)… while the NMF paint cures on the P-47 i started up the Eduard FW 190 A-8!!
I know it’s a beast. So far the cockpit has been no prob and the photo etch is good fun. My fear is the engine and the cowling over it. Can anyone tell me what parts to exclude to leave the engine out? some of it should be there i would think… i was even thinking of just grinding the engine down so it drops right in, still gives some mass in the area and the exhaust pipes can still be attached (uh, i think).
any knowledgable advice on this kit greatly appreciated!
cheers
andy
