Eduard Big Ed

Sorry to keep asking all of these questions. I have been out of modeling for over thirty years. Back then they didn’t have all of the things that they do now, such as these Eudard kit’s.

The question, the kit comes in what looks like very thin stanless steel, Do you paint them or leave them the naturall color? One set fot the instrument panels are alreasdy colored. Having never used them or even seen them before, I was suprised to find they came without instructions, just pictures.I am just starting an F-4 Phantom. Thank You. Richard

You paint them. There should be instructions a folded piece of paper in the bag with the parts to show you where the parts go. Then you follow the painting instructions in the kit or your reference material.

Richard, don’t be sorry for asking questions! Now, if you cannot find your instructions, go to eduard’s website (http://www.eduard.com/) and search for the particular set you have. once you find it, click on it, then click on the contents of the big ed set. you will find some photos and a link labeld “Instruction Sheet”. From there you can print them off. You must have Adobe Acrobat, but most computers have that these days. Good luck!

I usually install the PE and then paint them while they’re on the kit, so I can get a better adhesion of the parts. But that’s just me, others may have different techniques.

If for some reason there aren’t any instructions, you can also download and print them directly from the Eduard website.

Hey knight, looks like we had the same thought at the same time hehe

Oh, rats! I hate doing that. We’re just all so full of good information, we can’t help sharing.
