Just a heads up…Ebay site got hacked about 2 months ago and now they are telling us! I changed my Ebay and Paypal passwords as a precaution. Over 2 million accounts were compromised.
Nice… Not that I have much money to steal via PayPal…

They said no payment info has been compromised but who really knows (I dont trust anything really). They said change your password for Ebay. Paypal was apparently not hacked. It also said if you use the same password on ebay for anything else like email change those too.
I haven’t used eBay for years, but I went there anyhow to change my password. It wouldn’t recognize me- apparently after a long period of inactivity, your account gets closed out. Fine with me.
I changed my password yesterday. Now I have to remember it. I’ve used the same password for awhile.
And make sure that your eBay password is not the same as your PayPal password.
Thing that ticked me off was I didn’t know about it until I read it on a BBC newsfeed! And I’m on there almost every day! Yes, I trying to thin out the stash 
I just got an email from Ebay spilling the beans about their goof and asking members to change their passwords if they haven’t done so. It seems that as of late, we find out certain things out from the news media instead of the party in question. Same thing with a vehicle recall from Toyota regarding the rear suspension on Rav 4’s. I found out about it from the evening news months before Toyota made it public.
