Hello all
I’ve just picked up Revell Germany’s reissue of Matchbox’s old 1/72 Heinkel HE-70 and have decided to do it up civilian.
The kit provides Lufthansa markings for an aircraft of approximately 1933 vintage.
The question I have is about some markings on the rudder. The kit decal sheet provides a three color band red,white and black for the rudder. I know 1933 is too early for the big red tail band with the white circle and Swastika, so what is the story with this red, white and black band?
Are they some colors that Germany used to represent itself between the end of WWI and when Hitler came to power?
Any help is welcomed
