E-Hobbyland question

I’ve been surfing E-Hobbyland’s sight and they do have some great prices on many kits that interests me so I’m wanting to ask, has anyone here ordered from this company and was it a pleasant expeience, or is caution advised?

they have been good to deal with for me. I have used them 2 or 3 times and am satisfied

I have ordered from them a few times, and they are a fantastic company. I used to go to their physical store as a kid, since they were only about 35 minutes away from the farm. Nowadays, I just order online from them. If you have any questions, call Doug, and he can tell you anything you want to know.

I’ve ordered from them a few times and had excellent luck.

I’d just like to throw in my two cents by saying I have had nothing but wonderful service from them. They’ve been great on the phone and over the internet. They’re prices are outstanding. I once ordered a Monogram 1/48 B-29 from them and paid less even with shipping and handling than I could get locally. They’ll always have my business. I still like to buy locally but sometimes they have prices that I just can’t pass up.

Ditto… have ordered from them couple times. Everytime I make “comparision shopping”, they come out cheaper than Squadron, Sprue Brothers and GreatModels. Only LuckyModels beats them in price. Shipping costs are also lower than most web sellers. Check out their “sale” items… the only very minor negative is their small selection as compared to squadron/great models. I would do business with them again no problem.

It’s a safe site to order from. I have them on my favorite list just below Squadron. They have from time to time some excellent super deals that is hard for me to pass by. Their pre-order special prices are very good and often beats Squadron prices for the same kit.

I’ve ordered from them many times and have always been happy that I did so. Prices are good, but like another poster said, Lucky Model beats them. But then again, shipping is coming from the States, not China, so the turn-around time is far better with Hobbyland than LM. Shipping rates are good, and as a Texas resident, I don’t have to pay sales tax on my purchases as I do with Squadron.

I probably order more from Squadron since the selection is better but I tend to pick up a couple of kits a year from Hobbyland. Am now in the process of convincing myself that I need that new Tamiya Storch, and Hobbyland has the best price (actually LM does but the shipping for that kit will only be a couple of dollars less than the total from Hobbyland, and I’ll get the kit faster).
