E-25 Pics

I’ve been playing around with this one for awhile in between builds. This was a fun little kit to build, no major problems, just a little sanding here and there to get pieces to fit. I’m calling this one done. I experimented with doing alittle more weathering and I’m quite pleased with the outcome. The only problem that I had with this kit was the vinyl tracks would not stay glued together ( was going to use those to do a quick build), no matter what I used. Thank god that the kit came with the link and length tracks also, they probably look a lot better anyway.

panzer88, She looks like she’s been in action for few weeks or months already. Nice build and great paint and weathering. This kit builds quite well does’nt it? I am working on one right now. I have just started the splinter ambush scheme. Well done!

Beautifully applied camo. For vinyl tracks, they look pretty darn good to me. I say well done.

A very nice and effective finish. The only thing that sticks out to me is where the rear plate (the one the mufflers are attached to, pictures 1 & 2) connect to the upper hull structure sides.

DISASTERMASTER

Disastermaster, good eyes, When I was fitting mine together I also saw this and took off about 1/16" off the bottom of the plate so that it would line up at the top. This kit does have a few fit issues, but not many.

Very nice work on the paper-panzer. My only suggestion would be to tone down the rust on the exhaust pipes, in the photos at least it’s very bright/orangeish.

Thanks everybody for looking and the comments. First off the tracks are the link and length ones, the vinyl ones wouldn’t stay glued together. Second, the small gap in the back, I was aware of it but didn’t really do anything to it because it looked like the rear plate would possibly fold down for maintenance, if you look closely at the rear you’ll see three hinges at the bottom of the plate. But it does look bigger than I thought now that I see it in the pics.

Great looking build panzer88…I especially like the degree of weathering.

My only comment would match Bill’s…upon first seeing your pics, the tone of the exhaust rust seemed a bit harsh. I dunno if it’s a product of the lighting for the photo’s…but it might do with a little toning down.

Great build and thanks for showing it…[tup]

What a beaut!! Makes one onder how it would have done if it got into prodution. Probably would have given the Hetzer a run for its money, at least IMHO.

NICE![tup] What more can I say, you did a fantastic job on this E-25!!![:)]

Very nice job, especialy the camo.Very cool even for something that was only “paper”.

Great job on the camo and weathering it really sets this one off nicely, i gotta get me one of these [:)]

Just want to say, thanks everyone for taking time to look and comment. I appreciate it.[:)] Thanks for the positive comments and for helping me see a couple of “oops” that I made in all the excitement of finishing this bad boy. Now back to work on fixing this one and moving forward on Geschuzwagen Tiger fur 17cm. kanone 72(Sf) , what a mouthful, how about Grille 17 for short? Thanks again.

Sweet, nice subject, while some people dismissed these “E” tank kits an awful lot of people must have also have bought them, well I did.

Anyway nice work.

Regards,

Terry.
