I just saw on Great Models Web site that Dragon has reissued the E-100. They don’t show any in stock under the Dragon label, but they do show them in stock under Shanghai Dragon for $24!!
How about that, Brian!!

I have one in the box on the shelf, but that sounds great! My advice is to BUY, BUY, BUY!
Ron
mmmmmmmm[#dots]… ok… I just hopped over and bought one…THANKS BUDDY!![:D] aaahhhhh…can’t resist…
I have one on my shelf, too! But it’s sure nice to see it come back out. (I paid $32 for mine because it was oop at the time! And, it’s got the decals for the Maus kit in it at that!!)
If you want to “play” with it a bit, Mission Models has a replacement mantlet for it (you can see it in any of Brian’s (J-Hulks) posts on his E-100). It’s by Artisan Mori and is about $16. Brian says it’s worth the money!
Good building to ya’!
Bill
'E’s available again, 'e is! [:p]
I have the Maus all built up (it’s in a box in my basement somewhere) and man does the thing look humongous next to all the other WWII tanks. The tankbusters would have loved that thing. [(-D]
Sounds like a real good price Bill. How many are you going to buy?

Now only if I can see one here in my area…
Egad! The enormous E100 is back! That’s Excellent!
Ok, I’ll stop being silly.
Here’s some photos of mine (which was built when the kit first came out!)

For anyone not familiar with this kit it is very large for a 1/35 scale tank and it is a real easy build.
The original issue included an small PE set which needed to be annealed to be used.
Woo-hoooo! Big E’s back on the shelves! Seen 'em here in Japan, too. 24 bucks? What a bargain!
When are you going to start on yours, Bill?
Latch, good-looking E! What’s the cool emblem on the right front fender?
As far as needing to anneal the PE, I guess you’re talking about the bit to wrap around the muzzlebrake, right? I only used the grills, which were fine as they were.
We need to get everyone together and have an E-100 owner’s meeting one of these days!
J-Hulk,
Thanks for the compliment.
It’s a rarely used version for the 10SS Division.
My original intent was for a “What if” type diorama where the 10SS got one of the E’s and used it in the defense of Berlin.
I got the decal on an old Super Scale Decal Sheet. The sheet said 1/35, but it was closer to 1/24-1/16. So I figured it wouldn’t look too out of place on the E.
