Pretty rough (haven’t made one in years ,)but I will press on .
I like that. I wish one of the model kit manufacturers would do a tri-motor in 1/48th scale. The only kit I know of is the old Monogram “box scale” kit. I live within 80 miles of one Tri motor and 200 mile of another Tri-motor, and I have gone up in both of them. It is a great experience. The Ford Tri-motor was the beginning of modern aviation travel. I think Gillows did a stick and tissue model of the ford tri motor, anyone know.
Guillows did not but Sterling did do a stick and tissue Ford Tri Motor
That looks like quite the project. Are the engines vacuform? Have yet to finish a stick and tissue kit - started about 4 of them…
Is that an Epiphone hanging on the wall there?
Just as an FYI, Airfix also did an ancient Ford Trimotor in ‘true’ 1/72 scale. Theirs represented the slightly-larger Ford 5-AT model, whereas the Monogram/Revell kit was the earlier 4-AT.
I will have it suspended on a crane over the layout…so cool
Built a couple of them about 6 months ago for a break. Brings back a lot of memories. Still have 1/2 dozen kits left including a 54" wingspan Comet Aeronca Chief (either rubber or gas powered). Wife will probably think it’s a little too big to hang from the ceiling. The others are hanging from the wall. Their pics are in my 2021 builds post. They are a lot of fun to build when you need a change of pace.

Stay Safe.
Plus they are so lightweight that the Fast lane crane will not be stressed.
