Dullcote without Future

I’m just about finished with the Italeri F16 1/12th cockpit model. I approached this a little different than most of my other more standard models. I usually apply Future, than decals and finish of with Dullcote laquer. With this model I applied Future only in the areas where decals were to go. A lot of these decals were dial faces. To protect the finished model I want to coat with Dullcote but I’ve never applied it without the Future under coat before. I don’t think this should be a problem but want to see if the experts out there agree. I also want to retain the glass like look on the dial faces. I suppose I could mask each one but was wondering if I could apply Future back over the Dullcote and get the look back?

Sure you can. Personally, I’d redo the Future on the dials after spraying the dullcote as that would be a lot of difficult masking.
