DRIVE-IN PICS

Having just joined, I really appreciate the kind words from other forum members on my first posting.
Lot of great talent here. I really feel priveledged to be in the company of othres who enjoy the hobby.
These are a few photos of a drive-in diorama in 1:18 scale. The first photo shows the shell I begin with. This was created from commercial grade PVC, heat formed using a heat gun. I sometimes insert graphics to check the realism I am attempting to achieve. Hope you enjoy.

How did you get the girl to look so real? Just kidding. Wish there were more of these old diners around. Good work.

Another terrific piece!

Great and unusual idea. Loved it.

Terrific work, what did you use for the neon lighting?

That’s amazing!
Is that Elvis coming out of the bathroom?

Thanks, I use EL for neon lighting effects. Google EL wire and you will find tons of it online.
