I bought this kit several years ago and stashed in my closet, I wanted my skills to improve and finally I got Pollyscale’s desert storm sand.
I would like to hear any comments on this kit. I tried to dry fit the “wall” parts in the turret and it dosent seem to be promising[:(] includind ejector pin marks…
Anything else to look out from? thanks Abrams experts[8D]
Dragon’s Abrams kits are really good, in my opinion. The turret interior looks pretty good once completed. Take your time on the bustle rack and grunt rails. They can be a little tricky. The track takes time and care too. Overall, they come out really well. I’ve built quite a few and like them alot.
The Abrams in my “Highway of Death” dio is the same Dragon kit w/mine plow.

Anyway, about the abramas, I agree that it looks a wonderfull kit and I have built a bunch o’tanks to gain a bit of experience to tell, though it is one of thier ‘older’ kits (1992) and sure dragon have come a long way since then. My point is that it may be a bit, well, “slopy” here and there in fitting (not about detail, I think it’s great) it seem to me that some parts are a bit warped, so I wonder if you guy’s incountered somthing like that.

Thanks for the compliments, as for the civilian vehicles, they all started life as 1/32 scale snap models. Most from Monogram. Unfortunately, they are no longer available.
As for the Dragon Abrams, I didn’t really experience any other problems with it.
I am buildind dragons M1A1 HA for the GB and it was released last year and it is the same kit i bought in 1995 with the exception of new parts to build an A2. I too had doubts but it is turning out to be one hell of a kit
