Dragon!

Well I guess I will pick up some DML kits as per all the posts and responses I have gotten. All the points everyone has made are well warranted and DML seems the best bang for your buck!

The only thing that rubs me the wrong way with DML is this Cyber-Hobby crap. I love the Tiger 1 Early/DAK. I am waiting for the early but DML has had that on their release list for a long time and who knows how long we will have to wait. Then the DAK you can only order via Dragon USA, so now I live in Canada, I have to pay exchange, shipping, taxes, duty border costs, but the time it gets in my hands it cost me $87.00 for one kit, unreal.

I can only hope that DML will see the demand out there and how upset some modellers are and will listen to the feedback and release the DAK Tiger in their own box art. I guess I won’t hold my breath though, ha!

Is there one of those “gift” checkboxes on the DragonUSA order page? If so some of the extra charges will go bye-bye. Completely legal.

I hear ya. The only thing DML and C-H like more than German are their “special issues” and “limited issues” and “exclusives” - they thrive on creating the artificial demand amongst modelers and collectors.

It could be worse; the die-casters went nutso over the 1/72nd JPzIV special issue sold exclusively (initally) at “dragonfest”(??) this past summer - $100+++ because of the limited pieces. One could easily get a plastic version and paint it the same, but then one couldn’t tell everyone at the watercooler that they have that Dragon Exclusive JagPz.
