Ebay has them all the time. You can sometimes get them for a pretty good deal, 2 on there now. Both are around $50. 5 more in Ebay stores for about $70 each (scroll down at link).

It looks ike it is coming along nicley. One thing I noticed. In the below pic, it looks as though the interior is painted white. If this is the case, that is incorrcet. The interior should be the same color as the exterior, OD Green. Only vehicles that were painted white on the interior in WWII were tanks. If they had an open turret like an M10 or M18, the open area was also painted OD Green with just the hidden driver’s are white.
What about after WW2?
PRICING When you look at the prices remember that Tamiya has the Tractor in one kit and the Tractor & Trailer in another kit. The same with the FAMO & trailer. I bought my FAMO when it came out and then came the trailer with the FAMO, Now I have to wonder if they will ever sell just the trailer?
The Tamiya kit # for JUST the M-26 Tractor is 35244 and runs around $50 - 60, the kit# for the complete M-26 with trailer is 35230 and runs around $80 - 90.
I did see one site, Mission that listed the tractor only kit #, but shows the complete kit box art at the complete kit price, you might want to clear up what you are ordering before you give up the plastic. The FAMO with trailer runs around $90-110.
Watch where [}:)] you are buying from and what they are going to charge for the shipping & handling on eBay, always ask for a shipping quote before bidding. [:(] [:(!] [V] “Let the bidder beware!”
That’s one sharp build you have there. Nice progress.
Interior color for softskins including the M26 truck remained the same as the exterior. Even after WWII, it should still have OD Green interior. Current US Army trucks still have the interiors of their cabs painted Forest Green for 3-tone NATO camo and either Forest Green or Sand, depending if the truck was painted camo or sand at the factory. White is too bright and defeats the purpose of the camo (yes OD Green is a form of camo) because it cam be easily seen from a distance and does not blend in with its surroundings.
Have fun cleaning up that stack of tires it comes with. Try use a moto-tool if you have one. It’ll make quick work out of that chore.
