Anyone know if any of the companies out there plan on releasing some for this? I have the kit, but don’t have the guts to make my own zim. I was hoping maybe Cavalier or Atak but I don’t know their websites to check. IF anyone hears anything, let me know

I asked the guy at the LHS this question yesterday. As far as he knows there’s nothing in the works. He thought that the kit is so obscure, being a one of a kind and all, that it may not be cost effective to do. He suggested, short of doing it with putty, is to use an Elefant set for the hull and a Tiger I set for the turret. Made sense to me.

Not sure, there’s a book out there I’ve been trying to find by Jentz and Doyle. GM has it for $19.95 as a Special Order, but who knows how long that will take to get? Found one copy used on Amazon, but the price listed was $190!! Not sure if it’s a misprint, but I’m not willing to find out. I’m gonna keep looking and hopefully I’ll come up with it. It’s called: Panzerkampfwagen VI P (SdKfz 181), The History Of The Porsche Typ 100 And 101 Also Known As Leopard And Tiger (P).

Jason, Got the Tiger (P) book yesterday. The pictures show the standard zim pattern, looks just like whats on the Elefant. If I can figure it out, I’ll try to scan a couple of the pictures and post or e-mail them.

Cromwell models makes a conversion for the Italei Tiger P to make that particular command tank about $33.00. It has zimm on it. The capability might be close. Depends on how bad you don’t want to zimm.

Yeah, didn’t see that one on Sprue Bro’s. It’s close to what we were looking for, although it looks like it comes with the whole turret, which we really don’t need.
the cromwel models zim is a conversion for the Italeri kit, so its no use
