Guys,
Here’s a couple of photos of the Tiger I finished recently. This is the only one these German behemoths I’ve ever built. Comments and critiques welcome.

Nice Tiger. The white wash is excellent.[Y] Think this is the first time i have seen one of your kits. I take it this is OOB.
How wa sthe build. I have the same kit but with the pre white wash markings, so anything to look out for.
Hard to believe you’d never built a Tiger before this one. On the other hand, I’ve never built on either…Any how, really nice work as usual! Nicely weathered too!
Looks Good sir ! I like the exhausts… they look mean…[Y]
Contest Build!
It is looking very good with several technicues been discussed lately applied.
Thank You for sharing Aaron!
Very Best Regards
Johan
Looks good to me Aaron, nice job on the whitewash scheme and the mud accumulation. [Y]
[dto:] Loved the mud!!! I would love to see more of your work here in Armors. [:D]
After all the spring cleaning its good to see you had time to build a model!
Work before play, good job on both.
Tanks for posting the Tiger I, take its the new DML 'Smart Kit’ marked as a Leningrad Front unit?
Regardless it turned out great.[t$t]
Thanks guys. Look for more of this build later in the year. I’ll let you know when
Andy, there are a couple more of my builds in armor and around the place. If I can find them, I’ll post the links.
Cheers, Aaron
Looks great…now stop posting your builds as I am starting to feel inadequate. LOL seriously, great build and the weathering/mud is perfect!
…wow…this reminds me a lot of Rick Lawler’s work----and he is world-class. Looks like real steel. Outstanding finish and weathering…what was your technique on the whitewash and mud?
Looks really good Aaron. The whitewash and everything came out nicely.
Like Manny said wondering the technique used for the whitewash.
More later in the year eh?
Guess we will have to wait for the issue!
What , you also build models? [whstl]
Good looking model ![B]
Nice job all around, but I particularly like the white wash.[Y]
Nate
Stunning, the white was looks perfect. The weathering is spot on, love the grittiness it exudes.
Really want to build one of these beasts. I want to do a Leningrad/late 1942 one in PG, the early version.
Wow… I love this weathering. I can just imagine all the equipment drug, lugged, and slid across the top of the turret. Seems that proper attention to areas where thousands of hands have slid across the surface was addressed.
Beautiful, beautiful build. This really deserves a diorama.
Tanks for the images Aaron.
Steve
Aaron - seen a lot of your stuff in the magazine…I think this builds trumps them all. Great stuff!
Are we going to get a look into what methods you used for the whitewash and mud buildup?
Yaouzzzzaaaa…
Just started this kit and wanted to get some good shots of someone who finished one in the same winter weathering as you did…
Great stuff…thanks for the reference and inspiration…hope mine will turn out half as good.
One thing I am finding early on in this kit is the instruction are a bit difficult to understand at times. Especially using the PE at the back of the tank…
Good job…
I
Great work Aron!
As the others have said, but it could use just a minor amount of chipping on the Panzer Grey.
Show us a little primer!!!
