here’s my “refurbished '41”:
green instead of the pale yellow but same markings as in that picture and looks like the same model of tank ( same fuel tanks, same 2 periscopes, same gun mantlet, same turret and the partial steel-rim wheeled thing). it’s the dragon t-34 as well. kind of wish i’d gone with the scheme you have there instead of listening to dragon.
Nice Goatmonkey. I wasn’t aware that the 41 model had all steel wheels yet. Are those the kit tracks? Gives good sag.
GoatM,
Nice pic, thanks for sharing,
I think the instructions for my Dragon, suggest a combo of blue, green, & mahogany ,
think I will emulate the one I posted,

if you can find AFV Moderler number 19 theres one in that colour in the mag
yes, it’s the kit tracks.
'41 models didn’t have all steel wheels yet, i think they started that in 1942 and after that switched to partial all-steel to reduce vibrations. I got the aftermarket all-steel wheels to make it look like the tank’s been around a while. it’s not really historically accurate, i was just trying to make it look cool [:D]
Goatmonkey. They put togeather a lot of different parts to get running tanks in 43’. Kursk was comming that summer and they put togeather everything they could.
Squadron’s T-34 In Action has a tan & green camo. on the cover.
I’ve aquired parts to put togeather a “hodge-podge” T-34 also. Maquette has a aftermarket turret (different gun/mantlet combo’s), 1941 tracks etc. It’s fun to model the very possible. T-34 In Action shows 1943 chassis (76mm gun) with 1944 turret/ 85mm gun rebuilt at the factory in action in Germany. Like any army in a war if you can get something to move and shoot, it’s good to go.

that cover is what i modelled it after
