Got this baby pretty cheap on Ebay for $10.50 on the 7th and got it in my hands on Wednesday.
Funny thing is it still had a price tag of 49.99 on it. Man is it good to be a bargain thief.[:P]
Heck I even got a 1/35 RBmodel 75mm Panther gun barrel for $9.80 with free shipping.
Hey Mike, nice deal. I got the same kit last year for $20 with shipping included, so it sounds like you may have beat me. Greal deal, and like you, I feel a bit giddy. I heard it’s not a perfect kit, the suspension is supposedly the wrong mark. I do look forward to building it one day. Are you going to build yours soon? If so, how about a WIP? [:D]
I don’t know if I’m going to build it right away. I have a Imperial series Stug IV I might want to start first. As for it being the wrong mark it looks like the Tamiya Ausf.F suspension wise.
Here’s Perth’s review. It appears that the leaf springs are incorrect. No biggie in my eyes. Few would know the difference anyways.

$10.50?? Wow, you scored Mikey!! I paid $36 for it when it first came out 2 yrs ago at the IPMS Nats. Still haven’t built it, but it does look rather nice! LIke Eric says the leaf springs are the heavier ones that were used on Marders (?), but probably not noticable unless you’re an expert. Some have complained that it doesn’t come with the turret stowage box and that the 20mm barrel is a little thick. Again, minor issues that shouldn’t prevent you from enjoying this nice kit!
I agree, pretty nit-picky things. I laugh at the Tamiya kit selling on ebay for even more! So what if you get some poor figures with it. Need to do your homework, which so many builders fail to do.
