Dragon Panther D "Kursk" pics

Well, final weathering and touch ups applied, I’m finally satisfied. The old DML Panther D still builds into a pretty “smart” model …The Befehls Panther D…

Highlights include:

  • Aber and Eduard PE
  • Fruilmodel track
  • Scratchbuilt sponson box, tow cable, jacking block & mount, spare roadwheel mount, antenna bases and rear deck stowage box.
  • textured armor and mantlet

Please feel free to comment, all perspectives will be appreciated…

Wow … haha wow! I think it looks great!

[bow] Definately a keeper. Just love the weathering and camo and special props for painting steel on the inner roadwheel rims, so many seem to omit this step.

Fan-[censored]-tastic. Now, if you’ll pardon me, I’m gonna go throw my builds away.

Beautiful job in all regards. Most importantly, it looks like the real deal!

I’m just loving the subtle textures and weathering. Definitely something to behold.

Crockett that is a real beauty. WOW I really like the look you achieved. Thanks for sharing!

Looks great steve!! your best Panther yet! Is there going to be a figure for this one? I really like the added texture, though subtle, it’s really there! Well done!

Outstanding! I could comment on everything that is right, but I would be typing for a while, so I’ll comment on only on the flaws, of which I can find none. That one will look quite well at home with your other German armor. [tup][tup]

Nicely done Steve! [tup]

An excellent paint and weathering job on that Panther

Scott

beautiful. the faded look is pretty much misting over some of the base color??

This has got to be my favorite Panther to date. Beautiful scratchbuilding and paint job.

I especially love the subtle shadowing on the wheels - what color(s) did you use for that ?

Achtung Panzer! I like it.

Good job! Any palns to make a diorama? The shackles look great. did you make them or buy them?

Very impressive, well done.

Is it 1/35? It looks smaller for some reason, more like 1/72 but the detail would be even more extraordinary for that size.

Thanks for the link - it’s an honor to learn from the Pros.
