Dragon Marder III h Help!!

Hi all, ive started the Marder III H. It seemed at 1st a fantastic kit untill i read a review here http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/dragon/dr6331.htm and now feel that ive spent my money on something that will require a fair bit of time and effort to make ‘Perfect’ some things are blatantly obviously wrong. Whats up with Dragon??? This kit was pricey and i thought Dragon were the kiddies for getting their facts correct on thier newer kits? I feel a bit swindled. I suppose my only option is to build the kit now and adjust anything thats within my capabilities.

Does anyone have any pics of the interior as i would like to add a wire or 2 here and there as the interior of this thing is quite visible.

Cheers all.

There is no perfect kit on the market, no matter the cost or the company manufacturing it. Recently, I rarely see DML coming out on top of a side by side comparison, especially on some review sites. They do deserve their criticims, but usually the errors are so minor as to be laughable to all but a perfectionist rivet counter.

The one glaring issue that seems to consistently come up with this kit is the bend in the fenders. How they missed that is beyond me, but as I read on another review that most fenders were so dinged up that you don’t notice the kink. I say build it as it is, weather it to hell and back, and have some fun with it! [D)]

Though, if you don’t want it, I’ll take it off your hands free of charge… [:D]

Thx Glam, thats sort of what ive resigned myself to doing. Im looking forward to it, its just a bit of a downer when you think that there are a few glaring errors that should have been picked up by a MAJOR model manufacturer. Like the round collar that goes on the outside of the MG being orientated wrongly and the missing bolt to the right of the drivers vision port. Its funny the box art shows the collar in the right position LOL. Someone knew what they were doing.
