The new kit from Dragon includes the Magic Track, indie links of the Bigfoot type for the M-1. The insrtuctions lead me to think there should be 3 bags of track, I only got 1 bag with 170 links in it. Has anyone received this kit, and how many links will it take to complete both tracks? Also missing was one of the small chains that goes to the roller assembly. Thanks, Don M.
I’m not certain about the number of links needed per side but Iooked over a friend’s kit and it has the chains. On the other hand, amazing kit, isn’t it?
Yes, this kit is GREAT! After posting my question, I checked out a couple of reviews and found that the number of track links was right. It didn’t seem that there was enough for two tracks. The chain I can replace from the spares box, . I’ve been saving my KIRIN Abrams engine for a couple of years now, I think I have found the project for it. I will clear the work bench tonight and start on this baby. Anyone out there that likes the M-1, really ought to check this kit out. Dragon really did a great job on research and produced a fine Abrams kit. I can’t wait for the next in the series to hit the shelves. Don M.
