Anyone have any information on DML/Dragons older kits DRA3018 and DRA3019? 18 is the US SEAL Team and Vehicle, and 19 is the Chenoweth Fast Attack Vehicle Delta Force. Both are the same vehicle - that awesome dune buggy with a 50cal, 40mm Grenade, M60 mg, and 2 AT-4s. I went to dragonmodelsusa and they have all the kits, except the gap between 3017 and 3020. So if anyone can help me out, has seen 'em, has 'em and doesn’t want 'em…etc. Let me know! Thanks guys~
oh, plus any info on their AH-6j as well.
they never released them, they would have been too expencive to make but Hobby fan has a resin one
really?? hmm thats what I always thought - but, on jaguar models and legends hobbies, you can order the delta force one…it’s just that I don’t want to pay 129.58! But I’ll look for that resin version, thanks man~
well, I saw that the 129 one is the resin version…it’s definitely not as cool as the proposed Dragon kits, detailed, but it’s just the 2 seat buggie. Thanks Cpt Caveman for the insight!
the hobby fan FAV is not the chenoweth FAV the hobby fan kit is of a Brit fav. but if you want i have seen it at www.missionmodels.com
P.S. I have a bunch of pics of the chenoweth FAV [now called the DPV] if you want them Email me at osiveon@hotmail.com
I know this has been brought up before, but are there kits that can be converted to make any of these FAVs? In 1/35?
a i cant think of any but the army has a DPV based of a hummer its called the M1097A2 special forces carrier witch is just M1097 prime mover with lots of guns and gas cans. BUT pics of this are hard to find however PBS did a special on the special forces in Iraq and Afganistan on there show Front Line and that has lots of clips of the M1097A2
hey if you are planing to have any of the DPVs with figures most crew members like to wear nomex to keep there arms and legs some what dust free
