Dragon Hornisse, 1:35

This has been sitting on my shelf for 1.5 years. It was a Christmas gift from my son and I cannot do it. Why? Indi trax. He also gave me a 1:35 abrams which I have more than adequately ruined becasue I can’t do the trax. Can someone take me through, step by step, how they would do these trax. They are still on the sprues, untouched and uinpainted. Should I paint them first, last? Sghould I do the whole track although I think there is an option for a side skirt to be on, thus hiding them from view. Please help me do this, I need a break from 1:700 waterline ships. I want some meat in my cabinet again. Again, step by freaking step, assume I am stupid. You are not far off with that assumption.

Here’s a good article:

Don’t paint before removing them from the sprue

Here is a link to how I construct individual track links.

http://matt24.fotopic.net/c778272.html I can’t type very well, so I made the pictures instead. The more I’ve constructed, the easier it got. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Thank you thank you and thank you some more. I looked at the websites and actually used all the ideas to come up with one that is working. I did a 14 segement last night. QWent together evenly and looks good. Now, of course, the key is going to be the curves around the front and back. I have straight sections down.
