Dragon announcing..............

An 88mm Flak 36. I just saw it on Perth’s web site. Already has the box art. A needed gap filler for many enthusiasts. Now is it me or is AFV Club and Dragon spying on one another? They both come out with the 251’s and the Tiger lates, now they are both releasing 88mm’s. Oh well, the more the merrier, I guess.http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/newkitnews/newf.htm

If you and Jazzbot had both bothered to accurately title your posts, you would have seen that he had announced it earlier today.

This is perfect. I have a dio idea for my friend whose grandpa was in the Luftwaffe field div and commanded 3 88’s. He told me a story that took place with the 88’s in winter, theres a great dio.

On perths site, didnt there used to be 3 secret items? This one may have been one of them.

Guess I got carried away a bit. Perhaps Jeff or someone can delete my thread, since I posted later.

you only had to say its already been posted by Jazzpot

Thanks, Eric. I see they’ve got a Tiger I early on there, too. Getting hot and heavy over at Dragon.

I must say that I agree with Captain Caveman. That was a little harsh in my humble opinion.

Thanks Eric, good news can never be told too much!!So many good kits out there… so little money.

I know, where does it end? The past couple of years has been a bonanza of sorts. I can’t keep up with “I want this, I want that”. I do believe it was one of their secret items. I hope one of their secret items is a T-34/42 or 43 model.

How long before the 88 Groupbuild?

No biggie about Rob’s comment, I know where he was coming from.

Oh, I bet thats coming soon[:D]
I want to see one of the secret items a german ambulance. Its a very rare subject.

I’d still like to see some Brit armor, all they have is the recycled Alan Valentine. Good news is, as prolific as they have been, the wait might not be long. [:D]

Some Brit kits would be nice, although I like their Firefly(which could be argued it’s not a Brit) I’d like to see a Flakpanzer38t Gepard. Alan has one and I’ve been hesitant due to what I’ve read on Alan. I’ve been toying with converting a Marder III to a Flak-38t.Heck, what am I thinking, Id just like to get the pre-order kits I’ve been waiting for!!![BH][banghead][BH]

If tamiya wasnt on there 1/48 craze, there might have been hope for a flakpanzer 38. heck, they already have the Marder III and the flak 38.

I love the 38t chassis variants. All Tamiya needs to do is a tweak here and tweak there and viola, 4-5 more kits.

Andy, your right, forgot about the Firefly.

dont worry be happy its only a post man chilllllll

Oh man don’t tease me with that thought Eric!! I doubt though that we’ll see it. I think I’m gonna have to do some converting to their fine Marder III. I’m with ya , there’s something cool about the 38t. I got the Italeri one on ebay last week so I’ll be diggin’ deep for the PE and AM tracks. Here I go walking for bottle deposits again!!![BH][D)]

I hope their secret items turn out to be a Comet or a new tooled SU-76. Some Allied stuff on the shelf would look good…[sigh]

Ya, how about an M10 or M18? I know Academy and AFV has them, why not Dragon???

I dont mind if its posted twice as I missed the first post

My point exactly. At least tigerman included the word “Dragon announcing”. If he had typed “Flak” instead of a dozen periods, it would have been better. The Jazzbot already e-mailed me to express his displeasure in my statement, but his “check out” title has fewer responses and views than tigerman’s with a more accurate title.
