Dragon 1/72 King Tiger question

I’m almost done with my 1/72 Dragon King Tiger w/zimmeret. But have run into a problem…

When I installed the side skirts they line up fine in the front but they over hang the hull in the back. This doesn’t seem right and according to the photo’s of both other King Tiger models and King Tigers themselves it’s not.

Has anyone else run into this problem? And if so how’d you fix it?

Just checked the one I built and the skirts do like up at the back, though I cant remember if I shortened them or not, see pic below of how mine lined up
