Hello everyone. Just completed Dragon’s Initial Production Tiger I (Kit #6252). This kit was fantastic as it had a lot of details included. Finishing entailed Tamiya acrylics (thinned with Tamiya lacquer) over a Vallejo primer base coat. Weathering is similar to my previous work with Panzer Grey blue filter and a white oil wash for paint fading. Black oil pin wash, paint chipping with acrylics, some steel pigment on the high traffic and outer corners, and rust/grime streaks and oil/fuel spills with enamels. Final weathering was with a mix of various earth-colored pigments with a coat of pigment fixer to seal it in. A final coat of Testors flat lacquer took away the shine from all the layers of satin sealer. Tracks are painted with Vallejo Model Air steel, sealed with Vallejo satin varnish and then AK earth colored enamel washes on the non-contact areas finished up with steel enamel dry brushing. Tracks probably could have used a bit more “beating up” but I didn’t want to overdo it. Looking at the pics I realized I missed the periscopes in the driver/radio operators hatches. They’re done but I left them off until last to keep them clean (they clear plastic painted with transparent blue/green). Need to pry open those hatches and put 'em on…maybe this weekend. Positive critiques are very much welcome. -Len

The second picture is my favorite!
I bought two of these back in 2005 for $17 each but I haven’t opened them yet.
This sure looks like a great job on this…!https://kennethbargers.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/smiley-63.gif?w=82 good for you!
