I went by my closest LHS last week and found this set on clearance
Just the thing I needed after that verdammt RPM “Woodpecker” machine gun kit… aside from mold seam lines clean up, this was a trouble free build. But I gotta say, Dragon did not have their “A” team work on these guys, at least on the leg moldings, the detail on the leg wrap puttees and rifle was very soft… but overall a nice set, and each figure is balanced well enough to stand freely
and since I built these guys, it gave me an excuse to finally build the Tamiya French Infantry Figures that came with my UE Carrier kit that I built in late 2011. Much more crisply detailed all around, but these guys are a bit more petite Frenchmen…
