Dragon 1/144 armor?

Has any one ever built any of the Dragon 1/144 armor kits. Theyre pretty accurate for they’re size and even come with a small fret of photoetched parts. I built the Panther G and it looks o.k not like the previous pieces that look like wargame pieces.

Yes, built their 1st 2 Panzer Korp combo offerings; the Early Tiger I/Maus and the Late Tiger I/E100.

That was 6 mos ago, and am still waiting for the paint to dry on the rubbery suspension parts.
Have 3 more P-K “kits” on the shelf, may never get to them over this painting experience.

Otherwise, as you say, very nice little builds.

Here’s a photo af mine. Sorry I know it’s a bit out of focus I just got a new camera and I’m trying to figure the ins and outs.

What paint did you use? I used Pollyscale on the suspension and it came out just fine.

hey nfafan if you used enamel paint on the rubber it will NEVER drie just one of the pains of using these paints

Actually, it is one of the pains of building these toys, I mean tiny kits. The vinyl doesn’t take paint well. No matter what type it is, acrylic may work on it. I use only enamel paints and have no issues with them. I have tried acrylics a few times and hate them. They are a pain to work with and have too many poor qualities; dry time, hard to mix colors, don’t brush well, etc, for me.

I use enamels as well in my building of 1/72 and 1/35 kits. I have to agree with the above. When painting vinyl tracks, they always suck. A curse of the hobby!
