Be careful gluing the clear parts to the regular plastic as I’ve had problems getting a good, solid weld between them as the plastics are so dissimilar.
Didn’t do an SBD, but I’ve done several 1/32 Monogram “Phantom Mustangs”, like the one pictured below…
There’s no way to eliminate the glue-marks that will be visible between the plastic and the interior parts. All you can really do is use a good liquid cement, like Testor’s (or any other “MEK-containing” cement) Liquid Cement in the pink and white bottle… If you can still get it, straight Methyl-Ethyl Ketone (MEK) is the best…
Just be sure to use a good FINE-pointed brush (“00” or better) and let capillary action take the glue into the joints…
Another way to approach it is to paint half the model in solid, normal camouflage colors while leaving the other half clear and gluing the interior parts to the painted-half only… Or…
You could partially paint it, leaving specific areas unpainted in a type of “Cut-away” scheme that will show internal details, like below…
