Just picked up the Tamiya 1/48 Dornier DO355A kit. Has anyone out there built this kit and if so are there any road blocks that you ran into .

Built one a couple of years ago. Typical Tamiya quality, meaning top notch. No particular problems with it that I can recall.
Not a single bloody issue with the whole kit. It’s amazing. I’ve done two:

You might want to add seat belts, but otherwize it’s nearly perfect.
There are also plenty of aftermarket resin and etched goodies for the kit, like detailed engines and cockpits. The kit seats do have a little simplification of detail that aftermarket seat would improve on.

dont mean to get off the subject, but WOW John!!! nice birds you gave the links to. i had one of those bad boys in my grasp at hobby lobby’s 1/2 off sale the other day and got teary eyed when i had to put it back. oh well, there will be another 1/2 off sale one day and i’ll try it again. i especially like the desert Dornier John. nice work. later.

Built one with another pending - very nice kit.
Nice builds in the photo’s.
I’ve built 2 of these birds, the second is not yet finished will be in RAF markings, with part NMF. Kits fit together as tipical Tamiya.
