Does anyone know if any of the manufacturers are coming out with a new or re-release of a 1/48 scale Dornier Do17Z. It seems the last one that I know of came out about 7-8 years ago, a limited Classic Airframes and now hard to find in reasonable condition/price. awhile back i picked up an older Hobbycraft kit, finally opened it and discovered the many “challenges/deficiencies”, and may not be worth the effort/cost if a better kit is on its way soon.

About a year ago ICM sort of announced plans for 1/48 Dorniers , the Do.17 and Do.215. The 215 was released earlier this year, in April, along with another night version in August. No mention of the Do.17, neither as a future release nor in their 2014 catalog.
It could be some delay from a relocation, due to the recent turmoil in the eastern end of their country. I’ve found no statement issued that it was cancelled, so maybe still a possibility.
