"Doras of the Galland Circus" by Jerry Crandall

Does anyone on this or any other planet know anywhere where I might be able to obtain this book by Eagle Editions? It is “not available” at the Eagle Editions site, and I have searched everywhere for it. Does anyone have one to sell or know where one might be available? Thank you! I’m working on a Focke-Wulf 190D-9 of the JV44.

If its OOP you could try looking on Ebay. I know some folks here don’t like Ebay, but I have had pretty good luck with it myself. Hope this helps. I’m sure others will be more help.

Another way is http://www.bookfinder.com where you can indicate the title and/or author, edition, etc… Sometimes the books it finds can be frightening ( the Monogram on Japanese cockpit interiors by Robert Mikesh at $ 300.00, used of course ) but in the average you can find good opportunities.

I know that esoteric books like this can be ridiculously expensive even if they can be found at all. There is a “German Cockpit Interiors” book often referenced in UK modeling publications like Osprey that sells for about $350-$375 if it can be found at all…I recently picked up an “Official Monogram Painting Guide to German Aircraft 1935-1945” for about $200, which is probably a relative bargain, on ebay. Michael Ullman has a new book–“Luftwaffe Colors 1935-1945”–which I picked up a few months ago on eBay Marketplace for $80, actually a bargain–now the price range is $99-$245. It is just insane. I can’t even consider paying prices like that for a book I can live without at this point. But I can’t even find the “Dora” book on Google for any price at this point–it’s original price was only about $30 or so. I will try Bookfinder and keep checking eBay–thank you for the advice…
