I am glad to see such a moving tribute to great men…I am also glad to see that there are still several members still around, as they are leaving us in great numbers. I hope many more years of the reunion are still to come

Oh Boys, Lookie what I’ve got here. I made it over to Dayton today and got to enjoy 17 B-25s lined up wing tip to wing tip. Everything today was static display. There will be a memorial flyover on Sunday. What a lineup of aircraft! Seemed like a lot of "J’’ Models, but a lot of variants, especially in the nose armament. It was a little cool and breezy, but it was worth the trip. The museum was packed, but was spectacular as always. All in all it was a great day. Here are a few samples of the Mitchells. Rick

I’m sure it was a great weekend at Dayton. There was a meet and greet with the Raiders Saturday afternoon, and the line to see them was about one hundred yards long. It stretched from the WWII Gallery into the Cold War Building. There was a pretty big crowd on the grounds for the static display of 17 B-25s. I really wish that I could have been there Sunday for the flyover, but I’m happy to have been a part of the weekend. It’s always worth the trip to Dayton.

What a sight I got to see at about 1 this afternoon.I I live about 5 miles from the museum and was in the path of the formation flight. I was driving and suddenly heard the sound just overhead of large radial engines. The planes couldn’t have been more than 1500 feet away. Nearly every car stopped to watch them roaring overhead. I get to my destination 10 minutes later and here they came again.What an incredible sight!
