does this heli kit even need PE detail sets?

I bought a AH-60L DAP Blackhawk (made by Academy). I have looked at the parts, and am extremely impressed by the extreme accuracy Academy makes their models with (I usually buy Revell Monogram models, wich have good, but not excellent, detail). Anyway, getting to my point, do I even need to bother getting a photo etched detail set, or should I just use the wonderfully-made kit parts and save myself some money?

I’m working on a Pavehawk and for x-mas I’ll get the DAP. [:D]
I suggest that you get at least Eduard’s exterior set for the UH-60. It has many details (antennae, meshes, hyraulic hoses etc.) that will further enrich this model.
If you want to have a look at it, here’s the link:

Cobra models has a weapons kit for the M-230 cannon wich looks very impressive; here’s the link:

I really think its up to you whether you really want to add more detail to it or not. I have the same problem with my AH-1W model i have from academy. Dont know if i want to add more detail to it or not.

Thanks for the links/suggestions. I might get the PE set, but I think that’s as far as I will go.
