Does anyone remember the 1/32 Airfix Crusader III

Saw one on e-bay, Wondering if it was a godd, decent, or poor kit. Anyone out there ever build one? THanks. Happy BILL

Crossracer,

I’ve got one sitting on my shelf right now. I haven’t built one but I’ve always liked Airfix’s 1/32 scale stuff I wish they would re-release it. I do rememder on the M-3 Lee that they put out and I built that trial fitting will do you wonders with it and the plastic was soft so cement sparingly. I realise this post will be too late for you to get the one on e-bay but keep your eyes open they show up occasionally.

Crossracer - I have a finished Airfix Crusader at www.ww2modelmaker.com. Go to the Gallery and click on the British Flag. My name is Chris Schwach, and the Crusader III is in overall green for the Tunisian campaign. Go ahead and grab that kit if you still can. Better yet, sell it to me! Enjoy…

Its been rereleased now

I picked up one at my LHS in Mass. for $5. It was mint except for the crewman was missing. Great looking kit in the box with some solid detail.

I’ve got the 1/32 M3 Lee and two of the M3 Grants as well. The Airfix M3s are superior to the Tamiya M3s. I built the Italeri Crusader a long time ago, but don’t know if it is better than the Airfix kit.

Edit: dang, the initial post is two years old. Why have you been digging up ancient posts?
