According to Wikipedia, Brisbane’s metropolitan area has an approximate population of 2 million, so I guess someone does live in Australia in Brisbane.

When I worked for Qantas reservations, fog had closed Melbourne airport…some lady called me up and asked…“When’s the fog gonna lift???”

I think i have that one beat…when I worked at a Camping Park one summer after school was over, we had had some tourists up from the States, who were traveling with Skis on the top of their car. They wanted to know where they could go to do some downhill sking. Our summer temps at the time were 75-90 degrees F. at the time. They had a long drive ahead of them to find some snow.

~giggle~ A girl I used to work with had the same thing happen to her while at a Tourism Bureau in Halifax NS of all places - downhill in NS is slim pickings to start with…
