I have no choice. My build table is also the dining room table…[:(]

I clear the deck in between builds. Other than these very brief times, mine looks like a complete mess.

hmmm yours looks very neat and organized actually… I might have pieces of 3 kits in various stages of drying on my work bench at once!!

Clean? Neat?

Photo one

is table when it was newly built about 3-4 weeks ago and when postsed then I said it would never last.

Photo two

shows I would never lie to guys (and gals)! And yes… I know exactly where everything is.[:-,]

Sgtkopp… I like your paint shelf… I am going to steal that idea from you… with your permission of course[:D]

that’s nothing. here’s my sstomping ground:

im now in the midst of trying to clean it up, now that ive got some stuff done

Gringe, what exactly is your table? [%-)] It looks like a bunch of MDF boards stacked on top of each other. Am I seeing that right?

I don’t have any pics of my bench. Fraid the mess would break the camera [:)].

Regards, Rick

Gringe… I bow to you. [bow]

What is a clean and neat work area? I am not familiar with that term.

Mine looks like a tornado went over it. []

Sorry to buck the trend but yes I do try to keep it neat and clean.

I keep it reasonably clean. I try to put back tools etc. after I have used them.
But it’s not very tidy…[:o)]

Ditto!

I tend to keep my work area fairly neat and tidy. The only time that is not the case is when I’m actually working on a model. Outside of those times, everything has its place, and I like it that way.

I occasionally go through and put everything back into place. Did that Saturday as a matter of fact. Some times it helps me to clear my mind. Most of the time it is a mess though.

not sure what MDF boards mean arki30. all i know is that they’re basically drywall thats resistant to fire. it was supposed to go up in the front part of the basement, but we never got it. now im on the neverending quest to find that old science lab table to replace it.

BTW- you should see my dad’s portion on the other side, and the spray area!!

This is probably as bad as I let it get…

Joe… are those cleats for good footing when airbrushing or stomping the rivet detail back in after putty/sanding?

JoeRugby,

I like the saw and level. Ain’t never seen nobody use a saw and level on a model before!

I see your table top has the official carved for comfort feature lacking in most tables! [:P]

here’s a pic of my workplace

mmhhhhh, maybe not as clean as I want it to be…
