Hello all,

I need to ask you people a favor. Does anyone have this particular magazine?

Model Shipwright Vol. 21 1993.

There seems to be an article in it about the model of HMS Prince 1670 in the , Kensington with notes by master modeler Donald McNarry.

Since I’m building a model of this model I’m really curious what he has to say about it.

McNarry published a book called ‘Ship Models in Miniature’ which included his model of the Prince, among many others. It can be had for less than $10 from a variery of used book stores.

Hello Bryan,

I do have a copy of Model Shipwright No 84 June 1993 which contains an article by Donald McNarry about the Prince Model in the Science Museum, and also No 79 which contains an article by Lloyd McCaffery about his miniature build of the Prince, a truly mind blowing dockyard style model at a scale of 1:768.

The McNarry article is about four sheets and the McCaffery three sheets.
