looking for the 75MM motor gun carriage
I am interested in doing Kelly’s convoy before it was bombed[:D]
AEF Designs (http://www.aefdesigns.com) makes a conversion for the Tamiya half-track kits. Tamiya makes three different ones: an M3A2 (never saw full scale production); M16 anti-aircraft quad .50; and an M21 81mm mortar carrier. Monogram made some old half-tracks as well, but they were not as nice.
There was also the old “Yanks” conversion for the 75GMC again for the Tamiya kit.
I believe the kit of choice for the conversion was the M41 Halftrack, but I don’t remember if there was a specific reason for this or if when Yanks came out with the conversion, the M3A2 was not available.

Nitto also made a 1/35th scale halftrack years ago. Quality was less than the Monogram kits. It was the M-16 variant. If you’re looking for a challange…[:D]

Are the Taymia kits still available? I can’t find them listed anywhere

I have bought the M3A2 and M16 both at Hobby Lobby and have also seen them at various LHS.
