I don’t eat, but I usually have a beer on hand. I pour all my beers into a large, wide bottomed brandy snifter. So it’s a little harder to knock it over compared to your standard beer bottle. Combining two of my favorite hobbies. [:D]
I seem to always have something on hand to drink - always with a sealable cap. I will rare eat…except maybe some cheese/crackers.

Well, my bench consists of a 6ft folding table, half of which is occupied by my PC. So, while I’m writing or reading on the 'net, I’ll have coffee or tea on board usually. Occasionally I’ll eat breakfast in here after the kids are off to school. So, the food is in sight of my bench technically, although there’s pretty small chance of making a mess on the modeling side of it.
Usually a beer. I generally park the bottle or pint glass inside the 3" roll of 3M painters masking tape that sits off to one side of the bench - unless I am in fact masking. In which case I need to find another place to put my beer.
Always have one of those large metal drink containers hanging on the side of the workbench filled with water. Never eat at the workbench.

Neither eat nor drink- all focus goes to the model [8-|] I fill up before or when I need to stretch.
I do both at the bench, but i normally do it while taking a break. I drink coffee like i breath air, so i am often getting a brew between stages.
Jenn was going to kill me the other day—I polished off an entire box of Thin Mints Girl Scout’s cookies in an afternoon at the bench. [whstl]

I tend not to eat at the bench. (Potato chips are greasy and get all over!) However … A few good belts of “hooch” is the best way to weather! Or so my client’s tell me.

No eating…but I do bring something to drink to the desk. The hard part is finding a place to put it.

Let’s see, if I had room I would rig up something so’s I could have a constant stream of FOLGERS in my mouth[*-)] .DORITOS , and RUFFLES with dip . That works .No ,I really get up and snack in the living room at my fave place on the sofa . That way the model doesn’t get full of crumbs .I don’t want the rep as a crumby modeler.[H]
Really though , I have a dedicated place for my coffee mug .That’s about it .As I said , I snack AWAY from the workbench .Spilled coffee or soda isn’t good for acrylic paint ! [Y]
Gin or bourbon- I sometimes need it for the task at hand! Just a beer or coke if things are going well…
I don’t eat at the bench, but I habitually have either a coffee or diet dr pepper.
I find that after about four beers my hands get steadier which is good for doing photo etch or painting fine details, on the other hand it’s not a good time to install decals or parts that can be assembled in more than one way !
Food never but I do keep a big sports bottle of water or Gatoraide nearby. Before I quit in Oct. I used to smoke at my bench…
Drinking coffee or lemonade, no problem on the workbench. For eating it will be only chcolats or cookies since chips and nuts are too greasy. Not funny while airbrushing…
For drink I first also drink water. For cleaning my brush I use water. It happend a lot that I cleaned the brush in the wrong water…
But the paint gives the water that special flavor! Mmm, mm![::DD0]
