Great build, nice lighting and nicely posed,BUUTTT, the focusing of the camera leaves something to be desired. If you are handholdihg the camera, cease and desist. No matter how still you think you are holding it there will be some movement. Use a tripod or set the camera on a firm immovable stand of some kind. Check your F-stop to see that it will give you enough depth of field to get the entire model in focus. The greater the F-stop number, the greater the depth of field. The smaller the F-stop number the less the depth of field. Dont be concerned about using a small lens opening. As you close down the lens opening you will have to slow down the shutter speed, but if your camera is on a tripod or solidly braced it doesnt matter ,its not going to move and the picture will not be blurred. If it is blurred then most likely the focusing was not quite right. If part of it is in focus and part of it is not ,the depth of field is not great enogh and a smaller lens opening is required. That is a higher F-stop number = smaller lens opening = greater depth of field. I like to make 8 by 10 pictures of some of the models, but due to so many out of focus pictures I cant do it.
I hope this will help others as it seems to be a common problem.

Bdelov,Rick,Dave DJmodels1999,Treaskos thanks for the comments but you guys are not looking close enough ,I can see every mistake I made (lol)

Traskos, one problem I had during my picture taking was that I had my 2 yr old helping me so I had to take what I could get.

Thad

Kingthad,
I sure do understand. We had 4 of them. Don`t forget that 2yr olds become teenagers. Oy Vay

Thad, sharp paint job, great build (what flaws?). I second the motion on the “petition” for more pics, specially on the underbelly and the rear spinner section. And maybe a close-up of the cockpit.

Thanks for sharing. Good luck to your modeling!
