Well, I used “Zimmerit Coating Applicator Die” from AFV club and TAMIYA’s epoxy putty(smooth).
I think these item are the best for zim.

First off, nice to see something different. I admire you for tackling your own zimmerit. Just an observation, for I don’t consider myself a rivet counter, but zimmerit would have been discontinued by the time this vehicle would have hit the field, if ever it did so. However, that doesn’t detract from the build. Keep us up to date.

But this is just “plastic modell” and I have never seen Schmale turm on PantherII with 88m. This is just from my imagination and like luft 46.

Nice job so far!! I just finished that kit a couple of weeks ago but I haven’t got the nerve yet to try zimmerit. Thanks for the tip on the tools, I’m going to have to try to find them when I go to the hobby shop next time.
Funny thing though, this is the second time I’ve seen this kit referred to as a Panther II. My box says it’s a Panther aust F.
