Hey guys,Here is what I have been working on,I thought it came out OK,I used Tamiya and MM paints and filtered and weathered with Mig products,added friul tracks,and tried the hairspray method.Any comments welcome,thanks for looking.

I’ve never done one of these smart kits. Look nice, maybe I’ll have to invest in one. I like the way yours turned out, great looking distressed white wash.

How did the kit go together? Any major issues? I see you used Fruils instead of the kit tracks.

Thanks,Tigerman,picked it up at AMPSEAST 2009,it went togther without any issues.I only did MT’S once on a T-34,so I passed on them this time.Hairspray technique was OK,didn’t get the peeling effect I wanted,but I thought it looked decent.

Veeerrryyyy nice…great build. I give it an A- overall…
I like the weathering and most of the mud/dirt on the gear. One thing that I believe you can improve on is making a more gradual transition from the “dirty” to the "clean part of the vehicle. In some cases there is a too stark a line where the mud ends and the clean begins…IMO, some of this transition should be “feathered” or made more gradual. Just takes more time and more applications of washes, etc…Also, see a few areas where mud should be but isn’t…
Overall, Very nice…[Y][Y] I have one in the stash. Any major build issues?
Well thank you Manny,your advice and compliments are appreciated.I know what you mean,topsides look a bit clean,I probably need to do a little more research and put a little more thought into it to reach the next level.No issueswith the kit,construction was straightfoward.

It isn’t that the top is too clean, it just seems, IMO, that there is no gradual progression of mud on the bottom…it is too stark a contrast where the mud ends and the clean begins…does that make sense?
