Finally I’ve got my bench built and can get in gear on the hobby. First up is a very nice DML Marder II from the '39-'45 series. I’m going to do a winter camo scheme. Pics of the lower hull and suspension in progress:

I’ll be watching with interest since I’ve got it in the stash and have never seen one done in the winter camo. Should be fun.
my LHS has one for $22 so I’d like to see one made in winter camo licke I would.

The suspension is finished. So far a pretty fun build. I chose winter camo after reading Panzer Leader by General Guderian. His description of the hardships experienced by the soldiers during the first Russian winter inspired me to do a winter scheme.
